1. What CabLoot Publishes
CabLoot publishes user-reported ride-hailing experiences in India. Reports describe alleged incidents with Ola, Uber, and Rapido services. All reports are editorial in nature — they represent the submitter's account of events, not CabLoot's independent factual findings.
- ✅ Factual complaints — overcharges, cancellations, safety issues, support failures
- ✅ Subjective critiques — "driver was rude," "app UI is confusing"
- ✅ Documented patterns — "This is the 4th time Ola cancelled on me"
- ✅ Evidence — screenshots, photos, receipts (with personal data redacted)
2. What Is Banned
- ❌ Fabricated incidents — made-up stories
- ❌ Defamation — false accusations designed to harm reputations
- ❌ Abuse — slurs, hate speech, threats, doxxing
- ❌ Privacy violations — unredacted phone numbers, addresses, plate numbers
- ❌ Spam — duplicate submissions, promotional content, gibberish
- ❌ Impersonation — pretending to be a company rep, driver, or another user
3. What CabLoot Does Not Do
CabLoot does not determine criminal guilt, civil liability, fraud, or statutory violations. It does not replace or substitute police complaints, consumer forum filings, or proceedings before any regulator. For formal remedies: National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000), consumer forums under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, or local police.
4. Status Labels
Every report carries one of these labels:
- UNVERIFIED — default status; report has passed basic moderation but facts are not independently confirmed
- DISPUTED — a credible counter-claim has been received and is under review; report may be temporarily unlisted
- RESPONSE RECEIVED — the named company or individual has submitted a formal response, appended to the report
- UPDATED — the original submitter has corrected or supplemented the report
- REMOVED — the report has been taken down following review
5. Right to Respond
Ola, Uber, Rapido, named drivers, or any other individual or entity referenced in a published report may submit a formal response. Email legal@cabloot.com with subject "RESPONSE: [report URL]". Verified responses will be appended to the report with the status updated to RESPONSE RECEIVED.
6. Consequences
- First violation (minor): warning + content removal
- Repeat violations: submission privileges revoked
- Severe violations (doxxing, threats): permanent ban + report to authorities
7. Appeals
Moderation decisions are final. CabLoot is not a court and does not run adversarial appeals processes. If you believe a published report about you is false, use the Dispute process below.
8. Removal Triggers
A report may be removed if:
- credible evidence of fabrication is provided;
- the report contains unredacted personal data of a private individual;
- a court order requires removal;
- the original submitter retracts the report.
9. Editorial Discretion
CabLoot reserves the right to edit reports for length, clarity, or compliance with these policies, or to decline publication at its sole discretion.
